Cleaner Agreement

The cleaner is a self employed cleaner and not the servant or employee of the agency. As such the cleaner shall be responsible for the payment of his/her national insurance contributions as a self employed person and discharged of any income tax and vat liability arising from the remuneration of his/her work under this agreement.

For a period of 12months following introduction to a client or termination of this agreement the cleaner shall not engage directly or indirectly with a client who has been introduced by the agency. Damages of up to 12 months agency fee may be claimed.

NCS will have the right to terminate this agreement immediately if: The cleaner fails to comply with the agreement, convicted of a criminal offence or considered to be unreliable.

The cleaner may terminate the agreement by giving NCS 2 week’s written notice. The cleaner shall not assign any rights duties or obligations set out within the agreement as a cleaner or with the client.

The cleaner confirms that NCS is in no way responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury of whatever kind contributed by negligence or intentionally. The cleaner shall indemnify NCS against all claims and costs including legal cost as a result of any damage/injury caused.

A party shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this Agreement for the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event.

The cleaner shall at all clients premises before any work is undertaken carryout a full risk assessment. This will include the condition of the client’s electrical equipment. The risk assessment shall be continually reviewed.

Complete the cleaning service diligently to a high standard expected of a professional cleaner and always in accordance to the client’s instructions.

Stay in touch and communicate at all times with NCS, return missed calls and texts at the earliest opportunity.

Return Keys to NCS immediately when requested. Failure to do so will be reported to the police as theft. All costs for replacement of locks and keys shall be met by the cleaner.

Be punctual to the times requested by the client.

Wear clothing provided by NCS at all times during cleans.

Not to smoke within or around the clients property.

Notify NCS of any changes to the cleaning day, time or duration.

Notify NCS of any sickness or situations which may cause the clean not to take place.

Immediately notify NCS of any complaints or damage.

The cleaner must not use the customer’s phone or their own mobile within the customer’s property.

No cleaning shall be carried out on the exterior of the property.

Make yourself available within reason to meet prospective new clients.
